London UK & New York, NY – JULY 07, 2020 – Harbr, a collaborative data exchange platform company, today announced the appointment of former Experian and BT executive Amy Chalfen as chief operating officer.

“We are delighted to welcome Amy to the company and excited by the breadth of experience she brings from early-stage startups through to the world’s largest data and technology companies. Amy will play a critical role in helping the company scale, while ensuring we continue to produce world-class, enterprise-grade software that delivers successful outcomes for our customers,” commented Harbr co-founder and CEO Gary Butler.

Before joining Harbr, Amy was a global executive at Experian, leading a team of more than 1,000 employees across all continents in the $760M Decision Analytics business line. Brought in to help scale the business across vastly differing regions, she was responsible for the entire client delivery lifecycle for their business process automation solutions, combining software, data and analytics for complex decision making solutions at scale, including the shift to SaaS offerings. Her responsibilities also covered critical programs in venture and M&A, analytics and AI, and social innovation. Prior to that, Amy was a managing director at BT Openreach, where she owned £4.7B of product revenue, including P&L, product management, regulation, forecasting, pricing, marketing and public policy. Amy also co-founded and was commercial director for Geo, a telco startup offering dedicated fibre and network build options. There she generated the first $40M in revenue by building the strategy, market proposition and product while also running sales. Passionate about talent and workplace diversity, Amy is an ambassador for Everywoman and has been mentoring leaders from technology startups for several years.

Amy commented “Harbr is solving some of the most critical problems surrounding data and analytics that we face today – and in an elegant and thoughtful way. Having watched and actively supported them from the sidelines for some time, I’m delighted to join Harbr on its ambitious journey.”
